Hi Kate- We are particularly interested in creating a community based management approach to take some of the pressure off of the inhabited islands reefs. We are planning on doing a full fishing survey to find out what and where things are (as far as larger pelagics) and residents like Giant Trevally and use GIS to help design a management plan.
I have yet to go to MogMog but have been to Federai and down south. I have purchased two Thu's in preparation for the visit but so far things haven't worked out. So glad you were able to visit. I can see myself checking out here soon!

Hi John -- When I left Yap Junior was still waiting to hear about the deal for the resort; I am glad to hear that it worked out. And even gladder to hear that you're interested in the project, although I should direct you to Nicole Crane, the Principle Investigator of the study I am involved in, for more information about how you can help out. While in Ulithi I also made it to Asor and Mogmog (pretty special) as well as Yap, of course. Looking forward to hearing more about your plans for UAR.
